I left my lights on and the battery died. I tried to charge it and it wouldn't take a charge. had the battery checks and it was bad so I got a new one. the car has sat for a week and the battery died. I tried to charge the new battery and it won't take a charge. a week before i left the lights on, the AC light on the dash would not come on and the heater/AC fan would not work. Any help would be great!

Do this-check for power at the alternator batt. terminal-no power the wire between the battery and alternator is open-power there-do below

Have the battery load tested if okay-You have a short circuit that's eating up the battery overnite
