1998 Saturn SL1 missing/hesitaion

Have it checked for codes if u have any let me know the numbers.I would also check ur coolant temp sensor it's screwed into ur head below where the upper hose goes on it has two wires going to it a yellow wire and a black wire a bad one could cause what ur car is doing. Also when u take the connector off make sure it's not corroded if it is then u need to replace the connector. If u replace the sensor make sure u get brass tipped one the plastic tipped ones crack there under 20. Make sure the car is cold and u will loose coolant. Let me know what u find.
