how do you bypass heater core?

Locate the two heater hoses under the hood, going through firewall on passengers side. Disconnect them from the firewall. Take an extra piece of heater hose that is smaller in size (or larger) than the two heater hoses and connect each heater hose to the extra piece of hose. The heater core is now bypassed.
