I recently bought a 95 saturn and when I shift at high RPM's trying to get into 2nd or higher it would feel like the stick would slide but it wouldnt get into gear. Now I cannot shift into 2nd 4th and into reverse. I can get into 1st 3rd and 5th but all the lower gears I cannot get it to shift into. Help me please. the transmission has been running strong the only issue is the shifting problem right now. I looked at the shifter cable in the center console area and there is a cable that is connected to the shifter that is exposed. It looks like it was pulled out of the tube or cover it was supposed to be in. I can see it move correctly when i shifted into 1,3,and5th but for 2,4,and reverse and look like it jams up on the metal covering and even when i guide it under the metal piece it doesnt have the tension that the top gearing does.[img:80e7818f8b]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/531001_IMG_0002_2.jpg[/img:80e7818f8b]
