1995 Saturn SL1 Shifter

Yesterday I put my car into reverse, backed up and the shifter went limp. I cant change gears at all. The shifter just moves all around without engaging??

Look at the bottom of the shifter on the inside of the car see if the cable came unhooked if it did they make a repair kit for the cable.Let me know.
