Let me ask u this why are u replacing the ignition switch iam only asking because for the average do it urself it's not that easy u have to drop down the steering column and all that. If it doesn't have to be replaced and it's something else wrong with the car I would hate to see u go thru all that for nothing. Let me know.

Hello. The key on the ignition only goes in just the tip, but it does not go in all the way, I play with it saveral times but it does not go in all the way, at times it goes in all the way and it starts, but then I take the key out, and try again, but its the same problem. Maybe if I can put a new switch with keys. Thanks

That's ur cyclinder u said switch ur right for wanting to replace it there alot easier then switch. Get a 5.5mm nut driver there's 2 screws on the bottom of the column covers then u can take the top cover off. Then uplug the plugs above the cyclinder put the key in the acc postion u will find a square butto push it pull the cyclinder out.U put the cyclinder back in reverse order. If u have anymore questions let me know.
