1993 Saturn SL1 please help

My 1993 saturn SL1 was working great, then a clicking noise started coming from under the console where the emergency break is, the charge light came on and then the car stopped running. it will turn over and start , stay running for a min. and it stalls out. what could it be

Sounds like a bad alternator the clicking sounds are the relays for ur power seat belts when the battery voltage gets too low the relays click on and off.take ur battery out get it charged and tested if it's good put it back in ur car start up ur car and have the alternator tested.do u have a volt meter if u do then do what I asked and then check the voltage at the battery with it running let me know what it is.
