2002 Saturn Sedan Vehicle shakes or sluggish when accelerat

2002 Saturn Sedan 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

When I take my foot off the gas or when I accelerate my car seems to be sluggish. It is almost as if something is dragging or slowing the car down. After I accelerate and pick up speed it stops and runs fine. I was told maybe it is due to low transmission fluid but it's a manual transmission and I don't think fluid is the problem.

take a look at the spark plugs and wires, take each wire and easily bend it to and fro up and down each wire, if you run into a hard spot and it feels like it crumbled inside when you gently bend it , then that is your problem also make sure they arent melted against the block and arcing,(shooting a spark between the wire and the block)
