I can turn my car right and go straight with no troubles but my car will not turn left. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Well if u can turn ur wheel right and then straight sounds like ur power steering pump is working.could be possibley a bad rack and pion.what exactly happens when u turn the steering wheel to the left does the steering wheel turn to left or not.the more details the better unfornately iam not there to see what is going on.so paint me a picture of what's happening.let me know.
