Engine Cooling problem
1998 Saturn Sedan 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, we have this Saturn.
There is what looks like two coolant lights, right under the brake light, and they are flashing.
I have checked the coolant and it looks ok. My question is this, what does these flashing lights mean??

On your coolant reservoir you will hve a 2 wire connector. Unplug this connector and with key on, do the lights go out? If yes, either the float in the reservoir is stuck down or it's bad.

Sir, I don't see any connectors on the coolant tank.
Plus, we have found oil in the coolant tank.

Firstly, I need to know what model Saturn you have. SC 1 or 2, LS 1 or 2?
How much oil was in the coolant tank? Just a "foamy film" or was it mearureable? Also, does the engine oil look like a "chocolate malt"?

It does look like chocolate. As for the model, I could not find the type. I will have to look at the door jam when we go to Williamsburg, Va.
It's a four door sedan. And it seemed loike alot, but no milky oil.

Thanks
