2002 Saturn SC2 cooling fan

my sc2 over heats unless the ac is on. the cooling fan will only come on with the ac on. i replaces the coolant temp sensor below the water neck and still doesnt work. what else can i do?[/quote:03d170b4f3]
when u replace the coolant temp sensor did u inspect the connector for corrosion if it's corroded it will have to be replaced that could give the PCM the incorrect temp.also how do u know it's over heating does it boil over and out of the coolant bottle cap?what does the temp gauge read when it's over heating?
