Hi. As I was driving my car stopped at a light, I tried getting out of gear and it wasn't possible. My husband pushed the car from the back, and it went a ways ahead. We noticed that the car was leaking transmission fluid badly from the driver's side. We later had the car towed in front of our house because we couldn't drive it anymore. At this point, we were told to put more transmission fluid into it, we did this. We turned the car on, and it started leaking the fluid badly. I was told that it is a transmission line leak, is this so, or is it something else? What is the price range as to get this issue fixed.

Thanks

It's hard to say if it's a line leak since i can't see where it's leaking from.Line leak's aren't very common on those cars though.I would remove the air box that holds the air filter and the air tube off the throttle body that way you can really see where it's leaking.I would see if the transmission filter is loose or the gasket on it is cut also.
