1999 Saturn SC2 slave cylinder squeaking

Save cylinder squeaking when clutch pedal depressed. Checked, and fluid level is ok. Is the squeak an indication that cylinder is going out? Is replacement a major job? Thanks, Jay

You mean the clutch master is squeaking that's what you would hear squeaking because it's shaft come's inside the car.It just mean's the seal is dry you don't have to replace it till it fail's.You can try lubing it with some silcone spray or a spray call tri flow which work's sometimes and sometimes not.
