Electrical problem
1999 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles

Hello, My daughter has a Saturn and the reverse lights sockets were removed. We have new ones but cannot seem to get electricty into them. We checked fuses and they seem to be fiine none broken. We looked at the wires and the ones in the black coating seem to be dark. Is it because they are burned out? What do you suggest we do next? Should we put in new wires?Thank You

I would check the back up wire's with the key on with the car in reverse with the ebrake on.By themselves check the power one first then see if the ground one has less then 2 ohm's to ground.Let me know what you find.
