I need to replace the front wheel bearings on both sides. I need to do it with minimum expense, so I would like to do it myself. My question is- is the bearing a loose enough fit that I can remove the old one and install the new one on the car, do I need to remove the hub so I can use an arbor press, or is it better to buy a complete hub? If I can do it myself, can you provide any info I would need?

Thanks,

Dave Taylor

You will have to press the bearings out and in, if you have a press, you will have to remove the knuckle and hub.
