My Saturn SC2 car is using 1/2 to 1 quart of synethic oil approximately every two weeks. It's not leaking anywhere and it's not smoking. Performance is good and responds well. I can hear a sound outside of the car when it's running. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't run synethic oil if your burning oil i would run a quart of lucas oil stabilizer with a heavier weight oil.Running synethic oil will cause more oil to be burned.I don't know what the noise is where is it coming from?It sound's like you have bad oil ring's if your burning that much oil.
