My 98 Saturn SC2 just popped the linkage on the gear shift cables. The car was in drive but lost all gear control. When we removed the housing at the gear shift knob we discovered a broken linkage at the gear shift cable connection. Do I have to replace the entire gear shift cable or can I just replace the linkage. Right now I've got two zip ties on it and it works - lol. Please help. Thanks.
