How do I remove the clamp to clean the throttle body? Does it require a special tool?

George,
There should be a silver clamp connecting the large black air intake hose from the air filter to the throttle body. From experience this is usually a phillips screw.
Once you loosen the screw the intake hose should pull off real easy allowing you access to the throttle body

If you have a factory clamp it won't be a screw head there will be two tab's sticking up you use a pair of pliers to sqeeze the two tabs together till the clamp lock's open. To release it you sqeeze the clamp tab's together again and push the lower tab down while opening the pliers.
