Engine Performance problem
1994 Saturn SC2 Front Wheel Drive

My car has a new battery and will not start.

Before this, the power from the battery would surge and the lights got dimmer and bright again randomly. The stereo will also make funny noises when I attempt to start my car.

It is also hard to accelerate sometimes. When this happens, I will push the gas pedal but the car will be extremely slow to move. Shifting between gears is 'jerky' sometimes.

Have the alternator load tested if okay, get the Throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensors and fuel pressue check
