well my car wont go in reverse it will go in all other gears it shifts fine but just wont go in reverse all u hear when u put it in reverse is a loud whinning sound

U must mean a 1994 Saturn have u checked the fluid level of the transmission?U have know reverse at all if u give it gas will it start to back up?It's usually a pressure problem or a leaking 2nd gear piston when u have reverse problems. Let me know what u find.
