I put it on a scanner and it came up with the code P0302 which is the cylinder 2 misfire. I have checked the wires and the plugs both were fine. Do you have any other suggestions

Hello, Are there any driveability issues? Just about anything can cause a misfire, fuel--spark, just to name a couple. Did you visually check for spark on the cylinder in question? You might disable the fuel system so the vehicle doesn't start, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, check the fuel system.
