I am wondering how to change the manual window regulator, driver's side door, on a 1996 Saturn SC1. Heard a rumour that it is a 4 hour job. If so, why so long?

It's not 4hrs to replace the regulator I can replace one in like 20 mins or so but I have worked for Saturn for over 16yrs.u just have to remove the inner door panel take the window crank off first locate the closed part of the retaining clip get a 90 degree pick and hook that clip and slide it off remove crank.remove all the screws from the inner door panel remove the door lock switch or plastic filler plug from the inside release handle.then unhook the lock rods from it.remove the handle.get a screwdriver pop off ur mirror cover slide the inner door panel up and remove it.now peel back ur water barrier plastic to acess everything ur window is attached by plastic sliding clips put ur window glass in a postion that u can slide ur window regulator off the glass u just push the one side of the clip down and it will slide over. Now remove ur glass.loosen those torx 40 bolts holding the regulator now remove the regulator.put ur new one in and ur good to go.let me know how it goes.
