1995 Saturn SC1 gas smell from inside car/failed smog

Do you have any code's if so which code number's are they.You say it failed the evap test so your fuel tank wouldn't hold pressure?If you have gas fume's then you have a leak some where.I would look for raw fuel first then look at all your vapor line's for leak's.
