Wher is the ects on a 1995 Saturn Sc1 with 1.9 4cyl. Engine. Is it just below the upper radiator hose on the engine? Is it a 2 wire connection? This car has a seperate sensor for the temp gauge, the ects on this engine has a 1 wier conection while the temp sensor has a two wire connection. Is this opposite of what it should be? Would this cause engine to start only when gas pedal fully depressed?

The bottom sensor has two wire's and is the coolant temp sensor. The top sensor has one wire and is the temp gauge sender. When the coolant temp sensor goes bad that is one of the thing's that sometimes happens that you have to hold your gas pedal to the floor to start it.
