saturn sl2 twin cam

died on highway. replaced bad coil. Now won't start. flodding terribley in 5 or 6 rotations. spark is good. all scantool readings look good. rpm reading present on crank. but no asych pulse regeristing--whatever thath is.

If it died going down the road I would still check the crank position sensor.
Has the coolant temp sensor ever been updated to the brass tipped model from saturn?
