oil in water

1999 Satern Sedan 1.9 L engine 120,000 miles 5 speed manual transmission There is oil in the water but no water in the engine oil. Runs good at present time. This car is for sale at a discount. I am wondering if this is a cracked block or could it be something minor.

perform a compression test, you proably have a bad head gasket or maybe cracked/warped head.
