Clucht squeak

I have a 1997 saturn sl 1 with 122,000 miles. I have been having problems with the clutch in that it squeaks every time I press it, specially on stop and go traffic. I have taken it to the mechanic on different ocassions and he says theres nothing wrong with it. How can I get rid of that annoying problem?

Do you mean when you go to engage it? Or when you depress the pedal? If its when you engage it and the mechanic says the clutch disks are ok have him check your belts for signs of glazing its possible with the load you put on the engine it makes the belts squeak. If its when you just depress the pedal, are you sure it just isnt the pedal rack near your feet. Good luck :)
