Hi my temperature guage with the little water icon down below seem to be rising faster than usual. My fan comes on; and I have my oil changed regularly; however, I have not put coolant in my radiatior in years. I just add water to the overflow tank. Can you advise me on what steps I should take next? I am a woman on disability and need to try and save whatever I can, so I truly appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you

You should add the Dextron Cooloant to the overflow tank, this is the correct coolant type for your vehicle. It is about ten bucks at your local auto shop. Also if the engine temp creeps up when staying still this is normal due to no air flow over the engine, when you start moving again your engine temp should drop back to the normal range.
