When the car is in drive but at a stop the RPM's rev extremely high. It does while it's in park as well but less frequently. I turn off the A/C and it still does it. This first happened about 3 months ago and then it stopped after a couple of days. Now it does it every time its driven. What could this be? Thanks

Couple thoughts. A vacuum leak that is allowing unmetered air into the system.
I have seen a TON of coolant temp sensor that are bad on these. It sends the wrong signal that richens the mix up.
