Electrical problem
1999 Other Saturn Models Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Recently the speedometer and tachometer on my Saturn have begun fluttering... ie. they will both fall to zero and then flutter back up to the correct level. It happened once when I was accelerating on the highway and now happens somewhat regularly while accelerating/ shifting. The car seems to be running normally, though seems to be shifting a bit rougher than normal. Is it a connection problem or a problem with the engine?

Might want to have the vehicle speed sensor checked -its located within the transmission.
