I am losing the motor oil to the cooling system, what is the cause? How much might it cost to repair?

Could be anything from an internal crack in the block, to a head gasket, although most head gasket problems don't put oil into the radiator, the coolant burns in the cylinder and goes out the tailpipe...either way it will be expensive...A used engine could be the option...
