1998 Other Saturn Models no flow thriugh colling system new

i recently installed a head gasket on a saturn sl1 sohc after the install i notice the car is not heating up enough to come off cold start idle of about 1100 rpm the heat works fine but seems like coolant upper and lower radiator hoses are staying cold any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

make sure your thermostat is not stuck open, that will cause that problem most of the time.
