1998 Other Saturn Models i think its my transmission?

my car when i put it in reverse makes a loud noise and jerks back and when i turn the a.c on it doesnt want to shift right it takes it longer and the rpms go up higher and the engine seems to work harder what is wrong with my car.

Hi there,

i feel you should have the transmission inspected & serviced, there is nothing that a you can do with transmissions with out specialist equipment so get it checked before it fails and starts to cost .
