1997 Other Saturn Models overheating

Heater problem
1997 Other Saturn Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 185000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My SL2 cooling fan does not turn on when the temp gets hot but does work when i turn on the AC. I've changed the thermostat and the fuses are good. The area parts place can't find any relays or sensors to solve my problem! Help me please. thanks ray

I would have your engine coolant temperature sensor tested or replaced , they are fairly inexpensive for gm vehicles. and it is located: Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, mounted top of engine block
