My water pump has been on its way out for a few months. Today the water just poured out after driving just a few miles. My temp gauge went into the red zone, I was 2 minuites away from home, and just as I put it in neutral to cool the engine (w/water hose), the check engine light went on and white or blue smoke came out of the exhaust, and I shut the engine off asap. What did I do to my engine, please?!?
