I replaced the wiper linkage on ,my 94 Saturn SL1 because one side is stuck and broken on the old linkage. After replacing this, I noticed that the wipers is in the upper position when switch off. What did I do wrong? Do I need to check any fuse?

Hi there,

Take the arms off at the pivots, turn on wipers and make sure pivots are working, watch as wipers are turned off, Do they stop as soon as the switch is turned off? or do they continue for a few seconds? if so this is ok and called self parking, this is when to re fit the wiper arms, is pivots don't self park, wiper motor is faulty.
