Gotcha.
IF there is strong fuel, Then I would first check for spark loss. Also pull a plug. If they are wet, they won't fire. May need to dry and clean, or replace.

IT might.I think it's more wishful thinking though. Pull them out and look at them, check for spark.

The best way is wth a spark checker.
Less safe is to pull the plug and keep the wire connected. Hold it to the block to ground it and crank the engine and watch in the gap area. This can cause secondary ignition problems however by doing this.
