1992 Other Saturn Models Exhaust pipe broke in front of cat

My exhaust pipe sprung a leak up in front; right after the down pipe, before the cat. I was gonna do a quick fix patch to last until next week just to quiet it down. I was wondering is it probable the cat or O2 sensor are bad causing the break in the exhaust in such a strange spot?

Hi there,
This is just probably a fatigue crack, replace the pipe and make suer all exhaust mounts are fitted and tight.
