when I turn the key to my car, a light with a car and lock flashes on and off. The engine revs but does not start allthe way. This started happening today

thats ur anti theft does ur car lock and lock with key fob do u have keyless entry?do u have any other symptoms like gas gauge inop or not reading the correct level of fuel lights flashing like interior keyless entry inop if u have it let me know what u find.
