SATURN L300 V6 100000 MILES. DRIVING ALONG AND SUDDENLY LOST A BUNCH OF POWER. 2 MIN LATER LOST ALL POWER AND THE ENGINE WOULD HARDLY IDLE. A LOUD CLUNK STARTED AT THAT TIME. SOUNDS LIKE ITS COMMING FROM THE FRONT TOP END. SEEMS LIKE A TIMMING BELT SLIP! OR WOULD YOU HAVE ANOTHER IDEA.

T belt is to be replaced at 100K so your there. Usually Tbelt brakes but have seen plenty shread teeth but that always results engine dead. A check of belt is in order may have had bearing failure in a tensioner.
