2003 Saturn L300 interior lights

the switch for the lights on the dash looks like it may have a short of something because when i try to turn it up or down it flickers or goes quick dim or bright and the switch is very loose. what do i need to do to fix this?

Sounds like u have a bad dimmer switch u would have to replace it.they just pop out with a little pocket screwdriver.let me know how it goes.
