2002 Saturn L300 fuel gage

My fuel gage registers "F" all the time when car is running. Drops to "E" when off. How easy/expensive is this to fix?

Hi it sounds like you have a gas sender that is bad, the fuel tank must be reomved to replace it. Cost should be between 200.00 and 600.00 depending if the dealer services the gauge separate from the fuel pump
