Car will not turn over (dead silent, no dash lights etc) Next try the engine will turn over but not on the first turn which it did before this problem started. It cranks 3 or 4 times before it starts. AC temp will change on it's own. Steering wheel will not lock. Battery will eventually die and need to be charged. Battery has been checked under load. Outside of needing a charge checks out fine - no dead or weak cells.

Hi
I think there maybe two problems but first the ignition switch will cause your problem and maybe the reason battery drains. The switch is down on the steering collum. If you can get a test light on the solinoid ignition wire see if voltage present when key is in start position. If not then ign. switch faulty.
Let me know
Thanks for donate
