I have never had any problems with my 2002 Saturn L200 before now. But, now I notice a smell of gasoline in my car. I don't understand what the problem is. My mileage isn't that bad, 53,000, so what do you think the problem is? This odor concerns me.

Could be running too rich or the charcoal canister is saturated with fuel get the Evap control system checked out

Possible causes include a bad O2 sensor, excessive fuel pressure (bad fuel pressure regulator or plugged return line), leaky fuel injectors, dirty air filter or restricted air inlet, or a defective coolant sensor that prevents the engine management system from going into closed loop mode
