compressor is running , but warm air is all that comes ou the vent . Is the compressor not working or could it be something else ?

Today all the systems run all the time. No more cycling clutches. You may have a problem with your expansion valve. It means you still have some pressure and freon, but either not enough, or maybe that valve is stuck, around a 300 dollar problem. You'll need to hook it up to an R134 machine to test it with the proper gauges. ok
