the car has a loud sound coming from the front. It sounds like when the muffler is gone, but it is coming from up front. i think the exhaust manifold has a crack, but would like your advice and a way to confirm this.

Hi there,

With the engine cold remove any heat shields and run the engine, check for black carbon tracks, loose manifold bolts and using a length of hose, place one end around manifold moving around gasket and flange and listen to the other end, this will help you locate smaller leaks.
