2006 Saturn Ion axle removal from tranny?

How do you remve the axles from the tranny? The tranny went out and i have removed it but i can not get the alxes out. It is the GM tranny too.

To get the axle popped out of the transmission you just get a pry bar and put it between the axle end the transmission case and pop the axles out.
