Several dash warning lights started coming on, car evenually lost power, jumpstarted, took it to Saturn dealer, did diagnostic and found nothing wrong. Recommended battery replacement, put in new delco brand. Ran for a week then same thing. Took it to auto electric specialty shop, initially checked okay too but said alternator was failing intermittently, recommended replacement. Bought brand new delco brand and had dealer install and charge battery. Took it home in the evening, warning ligts came on again, car dead by nightfall. Took it back to dealer for further assesement. Experts stumped or poor troubleshooting? Any help would be appreciiated. P S, I had dealer replace electic steering motor in January - related?

Hi there,

Jump start the car and check the charge rate at the alternator, post your readings so we have something to work with.
