Steering problem
2005 Saturn Ion 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

What causes the power steering in a 2005 saturn Ion to go out sporadically, The power steering lights up in message area and the power steering goes out, once you turn the car off and restart the car the power steering returns. Do I need to replace the eps motor or does the entire column have to be replaced.

its usually the motor they have a motor kit sold seperately now instead of buying the whole column.depends on what codes u have in the steering control module.let me know what u find.
