When i turn my engine on there is a constant clicking noise. Then when i hit the gas the clicking noise becomes more rapid. I was at a red light yesterday and the car shut off, it would only stay on if i held the gas pedal. Is this the battery or alternator? Is there a way to check and see which one it is?
